The blind leading the blind...

I've heard the saying. I know what it means metaphorically. But until the other day at the gym, I had never actually seen it transpire in its true literal meaning. So I am warming up on a bike before my training session and in walks a blind woman and a blind man. I think he was less blind than her because it appeared as if he was doing most of the leading...although they both had a walking stick. I don't know, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Maybe not. Maybe it's like one of those stories you retell but it gets lost in translation...hence the term, "I guess you had to be there."
